Conference and School Sports Afternoon
Peterborough based insurance company Junction were holding a conference and BBQ lunch at the Marriott Hotel in Peterborough and were looking for a fun, cost effective afternoon activity for people to let off steam in the fresh air following a morning of meetings. With this brief in mind, Gable Events suggested that the group have a corporate school sports event in the grounds of the hotel. The event was for 40 people split into six teams and each team was allocated a fun name such as ‘The Bike Shed Mob’ and ‘Cane or Slipper’. The eventual winners of the school sports event were the aptly named ‘Beating Chastards’ and a great day was had by all outside in the sunshine! |
